Jenny works as a Senior Insurance and Risk Management Data Analyst for a global IT company, while taking the storm chasing photography landscape by storm with Texas Storm Chasers. Though her fascination with weather began in childhood, she has created space to engage with her storm chasing photography passion through each phase of her life.
To kick off March, which also happens to be Women’s History Month, we are bringing you our first storm chasing duo of the ‘Meet the Chasers’ series: Chris Kridler and Alethea Kontis! Chris is an author, edits other authors’ books, and shares her weather experiences online and in person. Alethea is New York Times bestselling author of books for all ages with a goal to inspire young people (all people, really) to be creative, adventurous, learn all they can, and think outside the box.
Introducing chaser Marcie Gray! Marcie’s passion for tornadoes was actually born out of fear at the age of eight or nine - then she saw her first tornado near her home, and "I was both terrified and mesmerized and vowed to learn everything I could about forecasting tornadoes from that day forward,” she said.
